Guided Family Dialogue: Cancer & Care Conversations
Offered as: One-Day Intensive or Self-Paced Scheduling
Facilitated by: Nancy Piccicuto, LCSW-C
When a cancer diagnosis enters a family’s life, communication often becomes both more necessary and more difficult. Emotions run high, roles shift, and uncertainty can strain even the strongest relationships.
This service helps families find their footing again — creating a space for honest conversation, emotional understanding, and shared decision-making.
Who This Is For:
● Families facing new or ongoing cancer treatment decisions
● Loved ones struggling to communicate about care, emotions, or expectations
● Patients seeking support in helping family members understand their experience
● Households navigating caregiver stress, changing roles, or anticipatory grief
Nancy Piccicuto, LCSW-C, is a clinical social worker with specialized experience in oncology social work, family systems, and therapeutic family meetings. She provides compassionate structure and skilled facilitation to help families communicate openly, reduce conflict, and support one another through the challenges of diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.
Service Options:
One-Day Intensive Comprehensive Family Meeting and Assessment (up to 4 hours). Ideal for families needing immediate clarity, coordination, or emotional reconnection during a critical point in care.
