In wellness work we focus on creating the conditions for optimal personal well-being. Attention is given to emotional regulation, forming and maintaining personal and professional boundaries, developing or honing insight, and empowerment to affect personal change. Self-care, relaxation, mindfulness, guided imagery, meditation and other tools are modeled and used as part of a total wellness strategy tailored to each client’s wellness goals and needs.
